Gaynor Simpson, the Owner and Director of CosMediSpa on the Gold Coast, brings an impressive 38 years of nursing experience to her role, with the last 19 years dedicated to the aesthetic industry. Her extensive qualifications include a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) in Specialist Community Healthcare Practice, and she practised as a Specialist Nurse Practitioner for several years in the UK. Driven by a passion for the cosmetic field and a desire to refine her natural artistic abilities, perfectionism, and keen eye for detail, Gaynor undertook advanced training in non-surgical procedures in the prestigious Harley Street of London.

Building on the success of her UK-based anti-ageing clinic, Gaynor now leads a thriving non-surgical cosmetic clinic in Oxenford on the Gold Coast, where she has cultivated a loyal clientele. Her commitment to exceptional treatment standards and customer satisfaction results in consistent client return and referrals. Gaynor remains at the forefront of the industry, continuously expanding her knowledge of the latest global rejuvenation techniques.

Drawing from her paediatric nursing background, Gaynor demonstrates exceptional patience and understanding towards any client anxieties. Her ability to employ distraction therapies ensures a comfortable experience through both medicinal and non-medicinal approaches. Committed to delivering renowned and innovative procedures, Gaynor actively engages in ongoing international training with leading biotech companies and has been a sponsored attendee at various conferences.

Kirra has been in the aesthetic industry for over 16 years. After successfully completing a Bachelor of Dermal Science, she is now continuing her studies for a Bachelor of Medical Biotechnology, specialising in medical devices. Furthering her expertise, Kirra has completed her Diploma certificate in dermoscopy and dermatology, allowing her to correctly identify various skin conditions and skin cancers. Kirra is passionate about studying and learning new techniques that help accelerate results and improve all types of skin and skin concerns. Her dedication to skin and medicine enables her to research and understand skin mechanisms at a cellular level, utilising a combination of medical technology and advanced techniques. When Kirra isn’t managing clinic emails, she is performing advanced laser therapies, body sculpting treatments, and skin checks. Outside the clinic, Kirra enjoys spending time with her Pomeranian, Leo, and playing golf.

Eilish is our Practice Manager here at CosMediSpa. She has been on the Gold Coast for around a year, having previously lived in England and Thailand. In her spare time, she loves to travel and eat great food. Eilish believes strong organisation is the most essential skill for a practice manager. She oversees the clinic’s budget, and her favourite part of her job is witnessing clients’ transformations under the care of Gaynor and Kirra. Outside of work, you’ll often find her at the beach or exploring the best dining spots around the Gold Coast through Eat Club. Her favourite thing about CosMediSpa is the clients.

Melissa, also known as “Mel”, has over 10 years of experience in the aesthetic industry and holds a diploma in beauty therapy. Mel has been CosMediSpa’s receptionist/beauty therapist for almost a year and is known for looking after all the clients who walk through CosMediSpa’s doors, managing bookings and rebookings. When she’s not at the front desk, she is providing beauty treatments such as waxing, tinting, and facials. Outside of work, Mel enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and miniature Yorkie (Twix). She loves going away with her family and trying new restaurants with friends. Mel’s most enjoyable moments at work include recommending products to clients that help maximise their results.
