Tixel is a revolutionary treatment that uses thermo-mechanical energy to rejuvenate the skin, the best part being it is able to treat around the eyes with zero damage to the retina or tissue of the eyes. This patent technology is designed to stimulate collagen and elastin, as well as ‘remodel’ the tissue to show amazing reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. For eyes we can treat right over the eyelid and up to the lash line!
The Tixel is a non-invasive option that uses a titanium tip that is heated to 400 degrees and touches the skin for micro-seconds, allowing for specifically targeted serums to be infused into the skin and create a more even, younger looking skin. This modality technology differs from traditional laser treatments which fire to puncture the skin to create a controlled wound. The Tixel results are comparable to that of a CO2 laser resurfacing but with way less downtime!

What can you expect during the treatment?
A clinician will consult you prior to affirm you are the best candidate for the treatment and create a tailored treatment plan to best address your skin concern. It is then ensured your skin is prepared with the correct products, take before photos and your skin is clean and cleansed, ready to begin! Compared to a hot stamping motion, the Tixel is applied working in sections and finished by using additional pulsing motions over any scars, wrinkles or fine lines to give them an extra boost of collagen stimulation! You are sent home with your prescribed aftercare and instructions on how to best take care of your skin.
What happens after the treatment?
Depending on the type of treatment performed, whether that be open channels, non-ablative or ablative – your skin post-treatment will differ. A lighter treatment may have downtime from 1-2 days and an intensive treatment may produce redness for multiple days and micro-crusting of the skin for 7 days. With Tixel’s thermo-mechanical energy-based treatment healing of the skin occurs rapidly, and the titanium tip allows for a safe treatment with less chance of complications and infection compared to other ablative treatments on the market.
